My new college:  Riverside Community College, Norco Campus

My first week back in college went wonderfully... I absolutely love it and the extra physical effort is actually making me stronger... and thinner.  I got too excited, I guess, and got a SPEEDING ticket on Friday on my way to school... LOL!!!  That will no doubt make my pocketbook thinner.  But hey... you do the crime, you gotta do the time... in Traffic School.  DANGIT!

The young people on campus and in my classes have been extraordinarily kind and helpful to me... helping get my books and supplies to my classes, voluntarily moving so that I can have the best seat in the class, visiting with me a HEAP and just in general being good friends to this doddering old student.  I am astounded and really grateful for them.  For some (probably obscure) reason, I was expecting them to be stand-offish and a bit disconcerted by my presence, but I have been more than pleasantly surprised.

I am BURIED in homework, so I need to get these pages done and get busy.  I have most of it done and I have to stay on top of it because I have 15 units and I'm in school every day in the week and also taking one online class for credit.

I have also been fortunate enough to have been hired to work in the Counseling Dept. when I am not in class.  It's a marvelous opportunity and I will really enjoy working with students again.

Well, that was the end of the pictures this time.  Sure was fun sharing them with you all and we hope to have YOU with us next time!

The "NEXT" button below will take you back to the beginning of this section of luncheon pictures.

VistaGal's site is always very nice and very well done. VistaGal's Seniors Photo Gallery.

Another great site to visit for pictures of senior gatherings is Warren 88's site.  Warren is one of the best cheerleaders for gatherings you ever saw.  He and his wife, Roberta, winter in Mesa, AZ, and summer in Rockford, IL, and he sure keeps the seniors entertained a lot in both locations.  Warren88's site  Warren's site includes pictures of chatters from SeniorNet, Sixty Is Something, AARP, and others.

And still another great site is Marilyn's Place, which has hundreds of pictures of AARP chatters, gatherings, etc.  That link is to her alphabetical index of photos.

Alumni.Net - Bringing School Friends Together
Good site.  No fee.
Navigation is easy.  Registration is free. The BHS Alumni Scholarship Fund benefits every time someone clicks here, goes directly there, and registers on Alumni.net.  It's FREE!  BHS is dear to my heart because I went there and I am webmaster for that site and spend most of my time working on it these days... LOLOL!!  You won't believe what fun it is to find old pals or just find people who attended the same school and have the same kinds of memories that YOU have.  Heck... by this time, I have no idea who wasn't a friend of mine.  You can also check out other grad years, other schools, etc. and there is a messaging system for contacting people.  All free, unlike some sites!
